We are so lucky to live on the banks of the Louth Canal, but sometimes seeing the place through someone else’s eyes makes you cherish it even more. This happened on Saturday when artist Judith Tucker and poet Harriet Tarlo talked about their work inspired by the Louth Canal at the Navigation Warehouse on Saturday. Wonderful drawings and evocative poetry.
Earlier in the year Judith and Harriet stayed in Ticklepenny and they loved looking out onto the canal – it was great being able to share our memories of the Canal with them, and some of these were included in Harriet’s poetry.
Don’t miss the exhibition of their work in October at the warehouse. Find out more about the Outfalls project on www.projectoutfalls.com
