Canal Farm self-catering holiday cottages offer a peaceful haven for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The cottages have a view of open countryside to the Lincolnshire Wolds and the majestic spire of St James Church in Louth, just a few miles away.

The charming self-catering cottages have been created through the sympathetic conversion of traditional Lincolnshire red bricked and pantiled farm buildings and have retained their agricultural heritage. They are well equipped and comfortable, with all that selfcatering holiday makers will need, each has its own its own courtyard and parking area. The local facilities are excellent, with 2 pubs, the Millhouse Restaurant, farm shops and a village store all within 3 miles of Canal Farm in lovely rural Lincolnshire villages.

Barn Owl

Sleeps 4/5

Barn Owl is our largest cottage offering 4 star self-catering accommodation for 4/5 people. This holiday home can comfortably accommodate a family, but a couple would also find it a cosy retreat.

Kingfisher

Sleeps 4

Kingfisher has been sympathetically converted from a traditional redbricked and pantiled farm building, with original beams giving the cottage charm and character.

Ticklepenny

Sleeps 2/4

Ticklepenny cottage now offers 4 star self-catering accommodation for two/four people. This is our smallest holiday let, and is single storey so is suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The Area

Beneath big skies, the Lincolnshire coast offers safe, sandy and clean beaches for families to enjoy. There is also another seaside experience, the wild salt marshes and dunes of the coastal reserves, gives visitors the chance to get close to nature and solitude.

Fishing at Canal Farm

The on-site fishing lake is an exclusive facility available free of charge to our cottage guests only. It is positioned just 400 metres from the holiday cottages along a dedicated footpath. The fish in the lake have grown to a considerable size – a carp of 25lb was the record in 2020!

Fantastic stay, great welcome with plum bread and eggs. Fabulous.
